Charlotte Hunter
On Site Massage Training Institute
Charlotte HunterCharlotte graduated from St Mary’s University in 1999 with an honours degree in Sport Rehabilitation/Sport Science then successfully ran a sports injury clinic for four years. During this time, due to many of her clients complaining of posture related problems stemming from work, Charlotte developed an interest in how different treatments could be of benefit in the work place. She has been practising on site massage for commercial organisations for over 7 years and in 2003 she established the On Site Massage Co and using her clinical knowledge and experience in the field has co developed the training programme for the On Site Massage Training Institute with Karl Monahan. Throughout university and beyond, Charlotte spent over 7 years developing her teaching ability as a kickboxing instructor teaching both children and adults to black belt level.

Charlotte still has a keen interest in martial arts and fitness and is happy spending much of her spare time at the gym. She also loves watching movies, seeing live music and shows and walking her dog, even in the rain.

Tom Jordan
On Site Massage Training Institute
Tom JordanTom studied shiatsu at the European Shiatsu School, where traditional shiatsu is combined with techniques borrowed from modern physiotherapy. His interest in shiatsu originally stemmed from the Japanese martial art aikido, the principles of which complement shiatsu closely from the concept of qi to breathing, internal focus and intention.Tom’s teaching background includes staff training in a retail environment and teaching English as a foreign language. As deputy manager at Waterstone's flagship store in Piccadilly, Tom was part of the team responsible for opening the store and training the original staff. He was then made business manager at Waterstone's Oxford Street.Tom now practices on site massage on a regular basis and brings a unique approach to the course teaching students how the fundamental aspects of Shiatsu can be applied to an OSM treatment.

Tom spends a lot of his free time practicing Aikido, qi gong and zen meditation. He’s also a keen cook, love films, like reading, walking, music, the seaside...
